Few interesting things about me. I enjoy reading (sci-fiction and growth books) and chasing sunsets. I am also a very outdoorsy human and an adventure junkie. I am passionate about poker, tennis, soccer and chess. Lastly, I am a perpetual learner. Every day, I push myself to learn something new, whether it is about machine learning, data science, learning a new music instrument or miscellaneous facts about the fascinating world we live in.

I graduated in Electronics and Computers Engineering (B.S.) and started my career as as a Software Consultant for CISCO Inc in 2014. After 2 years of solving intriguing problems in front end and back end, and interacting with clients on a day to day basis, I decide to pursue my masters in Information Science and Data Analytics from University of Texas at Dallas.

Fast forward to 2022, I am currently problem solving with Uber Technologies Inc. in the capacity of Senior Data Scientist where I build BI solutions for Fin-tech and Strategic finance. I have designed time series models to detect anomalies, assisted in building statistical models to understand customer churn and life time value of our riders and drivers at Uber, and automated several reporting processes using Hive, Spark, Tableau and Python. I have designed interactive dashboards using Plotly and also in Tableau, to interpret trip efficiency, customer retention and reports providing insights to C-level executives.
